I recently visited the Isle of Capri casino in Biloxi MS.  After wandering around the casino giving my money away at various slot machines, I happened upon 1 of only 2 chess themed slot machines.  Well, being the avid chess player that I am, I just had to try it out!  It is much like other slot machines, multiple wheels spin and combination’s of like images in line yield a prize.  This one also had the chess bonus game, which would feature various chess pieces on the wheel.  If the pieces ended up in a position where they could legally capture another piece, you would win a bonus amount of money.  This bonus would be for every legal capture, and after the first 2 captures, the bonus then would double each time.  For a slot machine, it was pretty entertaining (at least to me anyway).  I took the video below to give you an idea of what the bonus chess mode looks like:

I wasn’t doing to well (winning wise) at the time of the video, but ended up winning a little over $100 after hitting a 9 capture combination!  Unfortunately I didn’t get a video of that one.  Oh well, maybe next time.
